DISASTER HAS STRUCK!

On August 18, 2012, fire broke out in the Nature
Center, destroying the entire contents. Over 20 years of
work and dedication were wiped out in
a single day. Along with the exhibits and
displays, all of the program equipment and electronics were
destroyed. Sadly, the only animal that survived
the fire was Smokey, a Russian Tortoise, who had
been at the Nature Center for 15 years. We are asking for
help in rebuilding the Naturalist Program
by requesting donations of cash and/or materials.
The building is salvageable, but we need help replacing what has
taken years to obtain. Please see
our Wish List tab for a list of items needed.
Cash donations can be sent to Friends of Findley State Park Inc,
P.O. Box 330, Wellington, Ohio 44090
or through the secure PAY PAL - DONATE button
below. For donations of items, please contact one of our
officers through this web site for pick up.
Your support and gifts are greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
